Workin on the bug

Well I brought the dragonfly home the first weekend of June, and spent the rest of the week getting it back together.

the trip was a fast one. Dad and I drove up to Alabama on a Friday With my brother in laws car hauler, stayed in a holiday inn express. Took the plane apart. Put the fuselage in the car hauler, and the wing and canard in a Penske box truck. Then we drove all the way to my parents house on the west coast of Florida. Stayed the night, got up Sunday and drove it to my house. Luckily Monday was a holiday for me, so I got a shade hangar ASAP. We took it over to the hangar and Spent the day getting the wing and canard on With my dad, father in law, and my wife’s youngest brother. Certainly a big family project, and thankfully my dad could go along and drive one of the vehicles too, absolute life saver.
